[FADCA] Tampa Hamfest Plans

Chuck, I need to call Linda tomorrow and see what things look like there. I
sent the TX levels to the Motorola guy here today and he said the Low Level
(default) would be fine for the MSR2000 and MSF5000 repeaters.

My manual was not complete enough to give me the tie in points from the
black plane of the repeater.

He says we will need a relay to interrupt the TX PL and I suggested we could
use a two pole relay on the PTT line from the controller to both interrupt
the PL on Transmit in the repeater and provide PTT for the MSR2000.
Apparently the MSF5000 will work without the relay (digital version only/).

My plan, and he said he understood, is that he will provide me with the
tie-in points on the back plane and I can run the connections to a DB25
connector on the side panel (there is a punch-out for the DB25 on both MSR
2000 repeaters (VHF and UHF) and on the MSF5000 UHF and 900 Mhz repeaters.

Bill, have you guys successfully attached a digital regenerator to one of
your MSR2000s?

Chuck, are there folks at PACCOMM who are familiar with this?

Russ
