[FADCA] Tampa Hamfest Plans

I will be checking in on Thursday evening 12/2/04 at the Quality Inn Suites
in Bradenton.

Bud and Charlie, I would like to meet you (and anyone else who would care to
join us) for dinner Friday evening. Call me on my cell phone (below.)

I will be there on Saturday and can attend to the booth as needed.

If all works out, I hope to have a UHF MSR2000 Motorola repeater operational
at the site with a 9600 bps digital regenerator installed and working
(depends on a lot of things outside of my control.) If it works (and I hope
it does) I can use some of the 15 minutes if there are any left after your
brilliant and thoroughly entertaining presentation.  If it works, I will
have the pin-outs and other necessary information regarding the digital
regenerator and connecting it to the MSR2000.  If it doesn't work, I'll be
disappointed.

Hi, All-

Charlie N3PPC and I will be visiting with KG4UKI in Inglis north of Crystal
River Friday morning Dec 3.  We'll be installing Airmail, AGW PE, Pacllink
AGW, TelPac and Winpac for her.  (Whew!)

Chuck K4GBB: What is the status of the 145.03 "Inverness" ROSE switch?  We
hope to be able to access it from Catherine's Friday for Paclink AGW and
TelPac.

On to Tampa - We hope to be on our way from Inglis to Bradenton early Friday
afternoon for dinner and our motel.

recommend a repeater frequency we can monitor to find each other.



On Saturday N3PPC and I will be at the Manatee Convention Center Ham Fest as
early as is allowed (Gary?) - we'll set up the FADCA E-Mail over Ham Radio
tables/booth demo.  We will need some help manning the booth throughout the
day as we want to have some time for shopping and The Necessary.  The FADCA
Forum "E-mail Over Ham Radio in Support of EMCOMMs" will be in Long Key
North Room #4 at 10:30AM. I can provide a 35-45 minute PPT presentation -
anyone else have anything to offer for the remaining 15 minutes?



I assume that we can have a general FADCA BOD meeting sometime, somewhere
Saturday before we leave.



N3PPC and I have to return home Saturday evening.
