Well, folks I am back online but not making much progress.
As I said before, I am running a Kentronics TNC into a Kenwood 707 with an 
antenna on a 35 foot mast. I have a watt meter inline with the antenna and it 
shows I am putting 40 watts every time the TNC hits it. I have the retry set at 
10 which should be enough, but I cannot connect to anywhere. I had hoped I 
could get a BBS setup here in Sun City Center but it looks like a lost cause. At 
81 I thought I was out of the work force but today I was called back for a few 
weeks.
I will leave my station online but don't have much hope for it.
