The more I dig into this thing the more impressed I am with it. There
is a lot to
learn, but that is because there is so much it can do beyond just being a simple
switch. It can talk to other apps, it can interface with other
networks and do the
required conversions. It will also present the proper interface if you
are connecting
from a FPAC network to say a netrom or IP network.
At this point I am not going to worry about the cross network
interfaces, I am more
interested in enabling the external applications, as once I have that mastered
I can then make such things as info servers, network services servers, telpac
servers and other such services residing in the the switch computer accessable
from the switch.
