Thanks for the good news, Charlie-

W4OE is Hal Lloyd who lives in The Villages but is in charge of the Sumter
County digi at Lake Panasoffkee.
W5TWR is Ed Crowell who lives in The Villages as is the mover/shaker for
getting the ham group there set up for EMCOMMs
K4ROT is the Assistant EC Lake County ARES
KI4DYE is probably a digi (licensed to Sumter ARES Repeater Group) I'm not
sure this is the digi scheduled for Lake Panasoffkee (Sumter County) but may
be.

Horary for four more packet stations on the air!

I believe the digi radio for Lake Panasoffkee is 50w and likely programmable
(at least frequency agile in some way). The digi will be on a 140 ft tower.
With the information flowing so fast, I suggested it be programmed for
145.01, 145.03, and 145.65 and so they would be able to put it on the best
frequency to serve their group and the network (yet to be determined).
There has been more antenna damage at Citrus Tower (Clermont site) than
previously thought, so it could be another few weeks getting the Clermont
Switch up (Also a heard of wasps has taken over the Citrus Tower and must be
relocated before any work can be done up top!)

Ed W5TWR has a Telpac Node (DSL broadband) in The Villages and Tom KD4WOV
(Grand Island) has a dial up TelPac working. We plan on having those two
Telpac nodes on 145.01 to be reachable through the K4FC (TAV) node at
Tavares for the meeting / demonstration of E-mail over ham radio at the
Tavares EOC on Nov 18th.

I just yesterday had a call from Catherine KG4UKI north of Crystal River
(Inglis) - perhaps less than 20 miles from the K4GBB ROSE switch in Citrus
Springs.

We may bring some of this together yet!
