If all else fails bud you could try and either disconnect say the floppy or
hard drive and then boot it up and you should get the device failed hit
whatever to continue and that might let you know what it is OR disconnect
the battery for a few minutes and then boot it up as that would dump the
bios and you would have to get to the bios to set it up. Both should come
up on the screen.
Did you try F1?
You also might find some info on dells web site for that model if you
search around.
