Hi Tom
FPAC runs on a separate computer. It is a network format. It really has
nothing to do with a bbs other than the bbs connects to and through it to
get to where it wants to go. There is no problem with setting up a fpac
system later. If they are going to be co located then you would just need
to have a null modem cable running as a kiss port between them.
Try floating a 12 volt battery across the power supply to remove the hum
and you will also take care of any small spikes you might get in the power.
Did you check the caps in the PS? Is the PS over loaded??
