Ok gang, here we go, I know I talked about it before and
my aging mind has forgotten some what, but this is what I
am looking for to accomplish.
1) A BBS PROGRAM that can handle EMCOMM functions as a striped down =
program.
I have arespack 3.0 but I am having trouble running it on my =
computer at home.
I am not sure if there is such a BBS program out there that is =
tailored for Shelter Info,
if so what is it, what is needed to get it to run, and what platform =
can it run on?
2) With question one in mind, the information collected needs to be =
saved in a file format
that can be downloaded, transferred, and assembled into another =
database for transmission
to TLH, State EOC or other EMCOMM entities. File format, tab =
demented, comma separated text
or something that can used under packet radio..... I am sure there =
is something out there that will
work with packet and a database program in text mode.
3) Am one willing to come over to Polk to help set it up at our HAM =
EOC??? Hurricane season is near
and I am feeling a little under the gun to get this rolling out =
soon. Any help I can get would be great...
