Actually Gary and I have been discussing this a bit in the background.
I have a switch call of kp4djt. I was going to try to get it up in
eastern Hillsborough somewhere, but Gary has been talking to the fellow
over in Polk about putting the switch up on that tower. I have offered
to loan them my switch, that will mean that Evans you can use your machine
as the BBS, and that will give you more time to search out a machine for
the switch site. That done we will move it to another location and get
another switch up. I think that the next place will probably be Plant
City.
Also I think that you will be able to have links both to Tampa, Clermont
and you should be able to make Arcadia, that will give you 3 paths out of
your location. You will also need a dedicated link to your BBS, so that is
4 dedicated links and a LAN port.
As to the locations on the tower, put the link antennas as high as possible
so you can make the connections to the distant switches. The LAN antenna can
be lower as you do not want to hose another LAN. If you need more coverage
plan on other LAN sites.
