On related topics see http://www.fadca.org/n0ia_2.html

and also

We don't have a complete list of NTSBBS compiled yet.. but I want it to get
started now! It is not too soon.

Perhaps FADCA can start a separate thread on this... (Free??)

Here are some considerations...

We don't yet have a cross-state trunk/backbone between E and W coast in
Central Florida, but it is coming soon with the new LAN/Switch at Clermont.

We do have one in S. Florida (W. Palm Beach west ward)... I'm not privy to
the details, but WB4MOZ could provide that.

We do have some BBS with Telnet autoforwarding - I recommend any BBS in the
state contact me to see about getting that set up. That is the quickest way
to get a state-wide BBS autoforwarding set up.. we can get a back-up on RF
going as the links become available:

The active BBS I'm aware of include the following

JACKSONVILLE W4JAX(Telnet available)

SWITZERLAND WX4J

DAYTONA BEACH N4ZKF(Telnet available)

DELAND N4GMU (W. VOLUSIA) -Presently off line but soon to return

DELTONA N0IA (S.W VOLUSIA) (Telnet available)

ORLANDO N3PPC

MELBOURNE (SOON TO BE W4RP)

VERO W4OT

FT. PIERCE N4XEO

W PALM BEACH WB4MOZ

ST PETESBURG ???? (POSSIBLY)

TAMPAW4DPH (Telnet available but I can't get to it!)

If there are any others I've missed - somebody on this thread speak up and
we'll start a complete directory including

MYCALL
SYSOP
LAN FREQUENCY
ADDRESS
LINKS IN PLACE
  RF
  TELNET
ETC.
ETC

It is time we tied the entire state together with FBB-compatible
autoforwarding.. if nothing else we can do it on Telnet and move to RF
later.
