OK - the ENTIRE PK-232 manual is now online at the same site.
http://www.w4rp.com
it is the entire manual with commands, schematics, parts lists, radio hookup
info, etc etc -- as published by Timewave.
This is the LATEST manual and should cover upto rev 7.1 --
Their copyright notice said that it can be reproduced and distributed ONLY
for purposes of operation and troubleshooting -- so don't sell it -- I think
I am ok having it on the site.
I got this softcopy from timewave on CD when I bought the PSK upgrade for
it.
Now, that should cover PK232 documentation.
Cheers

Subject: [FADCA] PK-232 Schematics online
I scanned the PK232 schematics and put them on my site.
http://www.w4rp.com/manuals/PK232/index.html
There are 3 .jpg files ---
The first page is the digital schematic
The second page is the analog schematic
The third page is the parts layout on the board
I also combined all 3 pages into a single .PDF document.
Each .jpg is aprox 1.3 meg in size - I didn't compress them, as with this
size you can blow it up big on the screen to read everything and each page
will print on a standard sheet of paper and be legible.
Either click the link to see the page -- or right click and save the file to
your computer.
Ditto for the PDF file
Hope this helps
Rick

Subject: [FADCA] Hep w/ PK232
We recently rescued an AEA PK232 TNC from a deep dark closet.
When We power it up it doesn't give a sign on. We check the baud rate
and other parameters, but the most we can get
is Greek Giberish. Several of the ICs around the RS232 port are too hot
to touch . We suspect that they have Sked.
Does anyone have a logic/schematic diagram that we can get a copy of? A
Service/Operator's manual would help also.
