Charlie-

Good deal on the NTS Operator's Guide... Once you update it - let's put it
on the FADCA Website.

How much updating it might require depends on how far back the "Olden Day"
were! Har.

Please read the two NTS-related articles on the FADCA website and be sure
your Guide is updated to that generalized information. The major thing we
don't want to happen is for NTS messages to be handled like 'hot potatoes"
from one BBS to another.. we need to keep with the concept of a HOME BBS for
each ST ZIPFIVE - not just send a NTSZIPFIVE to a BBS because that BBS is
located in the ZIPFIVE. We must coordinate PARTICIPATING NTS digital
operators with HOMEBBS for ZIPFIVES (Earl's job. Har!)

Of course one BBS may be the home for a pile of ZIPFIVES- depends on the
availability of NTS packet ops and what BBBs they can get to on the network.

After K4GBB and WX4J develop a list of BBS/ZIPFIVES/NTS ops one way to get a
good start is to use the SWAPP function in FBB (or similar arrangement in
other BBS programs) like this:

NTS message comes into any BBS in the state like this:

ST NNNNN @NTSFL

and is re-addressed

ST NNNNN @HOMEBBS

Then, if all BBS in the state have a routing established to HOMEBBS the
NTSZIPFIVE message will make a bee line for that! (Though may go through
one or two others in the route.)
