HI,
WHAT SOFTWARE HAVE THE LOCAL EOC'S FOUND BEST TO USE FOR THE REMOTE
SHELTERS? I AM LOOKING FOR THE SOFTWARE TO PUT INTO THE LEE COUNTY
SHELTERS. IT MUST BE SIMPLE (TO USE AND TO INSTRUCT) AND BE ABLE TO
UTILIZE FORMS IN ADDITION TO SIMPLE MESSAGING.
WE ARE GOING TO USE THE HUB SYSTEM.
THE EOC SHOULD BE ON A UNIT LIKE THE SHELTERS TO PREVENT ANY 'ACCIDENTS'
TO THE BBS/NODE. THUS THE NODE WILL FUNCTION TO ALLOW ACCESS TO THE EOC,
WHILE THE BBS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR LEAVING NONCRITICAL MESSAGES AND
WHILE THE NODE IS BUSY WITH LOGISTIC FORMS.
THIS IS THE PLAN AT THE MOMENT, SUBJECT TO CHANGE. ISN'T EVERYTHING?
THANKS FOR ANY HELP IN FINDING A SUITABLE SOFTWARE.
73,
TOM, KF4UTH
