See the ax25 how to section 12.Configuring Linux to Accetp Packet Connections.
The file that you are going to configure is ax25.conf. This file determins where
at what gets each connection.
See the section about what happens if there is a missing default (what you are
getting) As you can see this gives you a great amount of power of what you do
with a incoming connection.

Did you use the Knoppix disk? If you do it will create the files for

Thank you and the same for you and your family. Today I am doing fish cages
and going to help move a van... Looks like it wants to rain, sure hope it gets
this wx over and we have a nice early year and reasonable dry season, after
this year of too much water and wind.
