Right on the radom cover....
Well, Bill, I wondered about that myself, thinking they were just not in the
right positon. But the taper is going in the right direction, the portion
that is to be screwed into the next section is in the right order and
position, and the internal parts (the actual radiating portions are mating
correctly). It looks like they made a manufacturing mistake and made the
male member portion of the joint too large in diameter to go into the female
portion of the joint, they can not (pardon the pun) complete the
"interaction" by the male screwing into the female and the female being able
to accept the male member of the joint......
Maybe one or the other is just not in the "mood."
.
.
.
I thought about junction lubrication and warming one up to accept the other,
but there are flaws in either approach to make them more atractive to each
other.....probably would not enable them to form a lasting junction......it
looks like I am screwed for now but they aren't.........joined in happy
junction to form a complete member.....
Does anyone have any suggestive (pun intended) methods to increase the
possiblities of a lasting union that could be accepted and recognized by all
partipants?
