[FADCA] Anyone need help??

Hi All

We need to take a look at what the needs might be of our members or our 
fellow hams.
I spent the weekend after our hamfest here in Fort Pierce over in Arcadia 
setting up comms. They had and still have a big problem. For the most part 
their radio comms consist of using nextel phones. When it went down they 
had NOTHING. We set up our EDAX (I think that is it!) trailer so they would 
be able to use tact 2 and tact 4. This is something that we all need to 
take a look at in our own backyard. It would be nice if we all had a good 
idea of what our county uses for equipment.
Enough of that, let's get back to the point.

Please check on any of the FADCA members or any other ham to make sure they 
are ok. If you know of a ham in need, please put it on this list and we 
will try and get support for them.

If you know of any nodes or switches down lets get them back on line as 
soon as possible.
It was a big eye opener again to see what a hurricane can and will do.  We 
really need to "get in bed" with our EOC's and make our network work. I'm 
in the process of moving the Fort Pierce FPAC switch to the EOC and we all 
need to try and work in that direction!!

I'm burned out so it is time to hit the sack..
