It seems my question about the operation of the 1278/KPC3 TNC at this time is 
not important. The club is having some problems with our repeater and think 
the packet radio is to blame.
I thank all that responded to my question and have that information on file 
when the it will be needed.
In the mean time my station KG4FCD-1 is back on the air and is monitoring 
144.910 24/7. If you cannot get thru, try a little later. I may have it on 
another freq.
