HI, Free:
Glad to have you back on 'the job'!
Here is how I see it now.. having just checked the latest interactive map on
the www.fadca.org web site.
There are no RED DOTS or GREEN CIRCLES associate with Sarasota or Port
Charlotte, but clicking on the little squares at those points on the map
brings up the details for each in the left pane.. but marked "Data Being
Edited"... There is a GREEN CIRCLE for Lake Placid, but no red dot. Clicking
there brings up details but marked "Date Being Edited"
What we need are the details for those three sites and those must be
supplied by site managers...
FYI - I've recently had some site updates on Citrus County (old Inverness),
and Sarasota - and have the basic site information ports, frequencies,
backbones, lat/.long, etc.. However.. I don't yet have the data for the
left pane from the managers of those sites, or have not recognized it in my
many emails on the subjects.
Each of those managers (and all others whose sites are not updated) should
go to the FADCA main page and "Download this MS word file which contains a
form and instructions for you to add the information for your site(s).
Please do that and e-mail the form to:[email protected] "
The problem I have is that I'm not familiar with the lay of the land at each
site, and also not totally familiar with each site and it's manager, and I
deal with so many I can't keep good track! So, I'll cc: this to the last
two managers I've been corresponding with and the whole FADCA list and see
who responds!
Maybe we'll catch some others in the process!
NOTE: Fellows and Gals.. this effort is creating more GREEN CIRCLES and they
are starting to overlap!!! Hey, it may be a network yet!
