FYI

We had a similar problem with the 2 meter port at the Sarasota stack. It
would transmit but it did not hear. I changes cables, ports, computers and
on and on.  Turns out it was a bad BPQKISS EPROM. Yes, the leds would blink
and twinkle and you would have thought that nothing was wrong with the tnc.
I was shocked when we changed out the tnc and it came to life. I changed the
EPROM and that resolved the problem with the tnc.  So, do not rule out the
tnc just because it appears to be ok and the lights do the triple blink when
you power it up..
