Good job, Eric!

I have Thursday off from house guests (they are headed to Epcot!). I'll =
be here all day - Will concentrate on getting the 220 port back on the =
Orlando Switch in the morning and see if I can get to COCOA then to =
W4MLB-8/9. Meanwhile, if you have a cell phone feel free to call me =
from the site if you need any help that I can do over the phone.

When those TNCS (which have BPQKISS EPROMS in place of the AX.25 EPROMS) =
boot up you will see the lights blink three times - that indicates the =
TNC is working internally okay. The VHF radio busy and squelch full =
open should be okay.. we'll know more when someone tries to link on =
145.09. That port was working when you removed it from Intersil, so if =
the squelch was open when you found it, you should be in Fat City with =
that port. The Vero switch is located at the EOC somewhere there.. that =
is as much as I know. From that distance, I'd guess pointing to City =
Center should be okay. (Vero is one of the two switches on the list for =
which I do not have a lat/long!)

If VSWR/PO check out on all ports that switch may work FB!

I don't know what the network status is from Vero south - perhaps WB4KGY =
or N4XEO can let us know.

Good Show!

Hope you are feeling better.

  Subject: Update for 10/29/03

  Evening all:

I did get back up to Trinity Towers this afternoon and got the =
connectors on the feed-lines that we need operational at this time. I =
also put the polyphasers in line but they are not grounded to anything =
as of yet. I did not have any test equipment with me when I was up =
there but I did power up the radios and all came on line and seem to be =
on the right frequencies and the TNCs all powered up and seemed to have =
gone through a set up or diagnostic mode. The VHF & the 220 also seem =
to be active or something since lights are on or flashing on and off on =
them. The VHF radio has the busy light on all the time and when I =
adjusted the volume up the squelch was open. If someone could try =
working the system to see if it is awake I world appreciate it. I am =
not sure just where in Vero the 440 antenna is suppose to be pointing =
but it should be facing the middle if town now. As of now the Vero =
440, the Cocoa 220 & the local VHF antennas are all connected and should =
be working. I will try to get back up there again tomorrow with some =
test gear. Going to keep this short tonight since I am under the =
weather again.
