Evening all:
Bud, Charlie, Bill and Andy, thanks for coming out and helping fine tune =
the equipment today. Thanks also to Rick for his input from the field. =
Since it seems that I am the first one to update everyone else =
concerned, here is the news. The Melbourne FPAC switch seems to be =
running about 95%. There still seems to be a glitch between Melbourne =
and Vero on 440. When we left Trinity Towers today we were not sure if =
the glitch was in the Melbourne TNC or if it might be in the Vero site. =
More testing will be done in the next 2 weeks and if the problem is in =
the Melbourne TNC Bud and I will change it out. Other then that a =
little tender loving care and some tweaking got everything up to snuff. =
We found that the used polyphazers that I had installed for the future =
Melbourne to Bithlo 440 link and the jumper between it and equipment =
were both bad and replaced them. We also came up with a plan for the =
grounding on the polyphazers as well. Andy set up his service monitor =
and did a wide spectrum scan for any possible interference and did not =
seem to find anything that should be of any concern. This evening I =
have made up new jumper to install between the polyphazers and the =
equipment and will get them installed this week. I will advise =
everyone the day before I go up to replace the jumpers so that if =
someone notices that the system is down for a short time they should =
know why. I will also try to work on the grounding for the polyphazers =
this week.=20
73' for now;
