Hi All

I just got back from vacation to find both the Stuart and Okeechobee fpac
switch's off line. When I got to the stu site I found that the power supply
was off and the batt was down around 6 volts. I disconnected the batt from
the power supply and fired it all back up and walked out. This is the only
problem with running a batt across the power supply. What I'm thinking of
doing is adding a relay with a 12v ac coil and putting it on the output of
the ups and run the power lead through it from the power supply to the
batt. This will allow everything to stay on line when the power goes out
until the ups batt goes dead. This will open the relay and disconnect the
batt from the radios / power supply and tnc's. When power comes back on
line the relay will close and the batt will be hooked back in line....
How does this sound? I'm just looking for other input!

When I got to the okee site I found the computer locked up. After rebooting
it all was well. Now I just have to find out why it locked up when it is
also on a ups!!!

So the bottom line is that we now have the path back across the state.
