Hi all,
Just an update on what all I have found.
Turns out that my 9600 baud problems that I was having here was a noisy
power supply letting too much AC ripple sneak out along with the 12 volts
DC. I guess I need to invest into a scope to discover these problems more
easily. I wonder if I can convince my boss that Emergency Managment needs
one?
I notice that my connect to the East is sluggist at best. I can see KK4LI
(Lake Placid) hand off the packets to K4OKE (Okechobee) but I cannot see
K4OKE from my office. So all I can speak about is what I can see. With that
said, the link between Arcadia and Lake Placid appear to rock solid. When I
connect to N4XEO, after a few minutes, the link gets dropped with a message
stating that there is too much congestion at K1VOA-9. I force another
connect and the message comes back that the link is un-available at K1VOA-9.
Can someone on that side of the world take a look at what is going on? As it
stands, Bill and I do not have a reliable path to forward with.
