Doug, I think it is an area we need to work on to be ready to support it's
use as well as use it as available. I read Chuck's note ("Can you get a ops
manual and how does the system switch data? Sounds like a port on a FPAC
LINUX switch at each site may be able to put this system to very good use to
all of our advantage.") also and think it should be persued. It looks like
there should be away to tie the resources together to use the system that is
available and be transparent to the Emergency Management staff. They just go
about their normal business in support of a disaster response and which
every system is operational from their location would be used automatically
without the users intervention.
