Here is the information on the Melbourne Hamfest - I hope we can have some
folks attend who will be interested in digital communications.

I have suggested to the FADCA BOD we have a FADCA table and a FADCA forum.

Melbourne Hamfest flyer info ...two days, Sept. 13,14, different host
hotel...rates $49.00 per night...tickets $5.00. Check below for table
prices, tailgate , etc.

Melbourne 2003 Hamfest
September 12, 13, 14, 2003

The 2003 Melbourne Hamfest will be held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the
Melbourne Auditorium.625 E. Hibiscus Blvd. Melbourne, FL 32901 Each person
attending the Hamfest requires a ticket.  All Tickets are $5.00 each.
Tailgate spots are $10.00 each.  Along the curbs, $1.00 per frontage foot.
No vehicles, trailers, tents or displays on the grass in front of the
building. No Advanced Reservations for Tailgate.  Swap Tables are $20.00
each. Large blocks of tables will be available in the side rooms. Commercial
Tables are $80.00 each.

Friday:
Tailgate Set Up starts First Come, First Serve, Not before Noon on Friday.
The city needs time to set up and cut the grass, we can have no vehicles on
site prior to noon.  Indoor set up on Friday from 6 to 8:30 PM.
Overnight security is provided.

Saturday:
Indoor setup resumes at 8:00 AM  Doors open to the public at 9:00 AM and
Close at 5:00 PM.  Overnight security is provided.

Sunday:
Indoor setup resumes at 8:00 AM Doors open to the public at 9:0 AM and Close
at 4:00 PM

Meetings:
All Meetings will be held in the East Room of the Melbourne Auditorium.
Times for various meetings will be announced.

Florida Phone Traffic Net Luncheon and Meeting; Saturday, Sept. 13, 11:00
AM - 1:30 PM  Barnhill's Buffet Restaurant, 800 S. Babcock St.,
Melbourne........Folks over 60 will be charged $5.50, which includes tax and
drink.. under 60 will be charged $7.41, which includes tax and drink...Have
lunch the FPTN way, "it's the ONLY way".  Looking forward to seeing all of

Florida Repeater Council Meeting, Saturday, 3 PM to 5 PM
