I have received basic switch data from WB4KGY and KP4DJT to include in the
interactive map. Thanks.
We want to have this map as complete as possible and working before the
Digital Conference in Bradenton on Oct 5th. All data to be included in the
map must be in to me by this weekend so I can get it ready for Free when he
returns. He'll only have a short time to get it all included.
Don't put this off - if you manage any ROSE or FPAC switch sites on /near
the Florida Layered Packet network, please send the information needed to
complete the map.
For those who may have missed the original request, it is repeated here -

All District Directors and anyone who is responsible for any of the ROSE or
FPAC switches on the Florida Layered Network - -
The little interactive mapping project is nearly ready for prime time. We
need basic information on all your switches. It needs to be in a specific
format to (1) facilitate W1NPR's putting it in the mapping scheme, and (2)
make it all have the same "look". You can pick up the "form" at
http://fadca.org/mapformat.doc
Please fill it out for each of your switches and e-mail it back to me.
Free is off on one of his journeys and I want to have all the missing data
compiled for him when he returns. Our goal is to have the data on all the
active switches working with the map on the FADCA web site not later than
October 5th when we will be participating in the W. Central Florida ARRL
Digital Conference in Bradenton. If your switch is inactive but still in
tact, please provide the needed information.
You can also go to the FADCA web pages at http://fadca.org and see the
notice about needing the information and can click there to get the
information. We need your data to fill in the rest of the blanks on the
interactive map.
To see the basic way the interactive map works, go to http://fadca.org/map/
. Only the data for Daytona Beach, DeLand, and Orlando switches are there,
but you can stop or click on those three dots to see how the information is
used. Click on HELP to see what is there.
Thanks, and just ask if you have any questions.
