Yes, I have been following several of them but this is the most outstanding
example of one that does not appear to have much in the way of ham backing
but besides that, the fact that they are getting such nice links at such
distances makes it very attractive for our interswitch links when we can get
paths that permit, I think in many cases we are going to find that there will
be many paths that will be so.

And those that are not, a very simple switch site with two access points on
it would probably take up the slack. Of course we would have some siting to
deal with but should probably a mid point site would not be so critical as
these long haul links.
