I would like to get some feedback from some who are already
using some of these radios, we may have to ask out of state
and see who responds. Sure would have been nice if MFJ had
of gotten enough people buying those little radios they used
to sell for packet, but I think the only one left is the 144
mhz unit and it is not reall good front end wise.
If the Alincos work out well the price is not bad, I bet if
we were to make a large enough purchase we could get a better
price.
>From what I can gain, none of the on board TNC's are of any
use in the network part of things as the KISS on them is brain
dead. Better a radio that has I/O for a 9k6 outboard TNC.
