Hi Chuck,

Thanks for the help.

I finally found an answer on a news group where someone was having a 
similar problem using UI View.

Apparently Winaprs wants Minutes and I am getting seconds from the Garmin 
Screen, not sure what it is sending as a NEMA string to the TNC.

If I take the .73 from the GPS screen readout and multiply it by .60 it 
gives the proper entry for Winaprs.

You will note from previous the screen shot Winaprs displays the correct 
GPS coordinates to the right of what is entered in the boxes.

I have never tried a direct GPS input to the Winaprs program, maybe it does 
the conversion when hooked up to a GPS and maybe the Alinco does as well, 
or the Garmin sends different data than it displays ?

I had already figured out how to make it work but was confused as to what 
caused it. My use of Winaprs is strictly static here at my QTH.
