I have been using Delorme Street Atlas and the Delorme GPS that plugs
into
My laptop for 3 years now to find my tower sites I manage.
I have yet to see what your looking for. I've always been right on the
Money when it comes to lat/longs.
I'll send an email to DeLorme.

Where did you get the Lat/Lon data? If you got it off of a
GPS there is a setting for the datum somewhere in there. On
the Garmins, I think is is under the Navigation settings.
If it came from a map, most maps have the datum published
somewhere, you just have to dig around for it.
On GPS devices it is selectable, so if you are using a certain
mapping program, you look up the datum for that mapping program
and set the datum on the GPS to correspond to it. If the datums
are different you will have tracking errors, I have seen them
as much as 500 feet off.
It may not seem like much but it can sure toss a big wrench in
the works if you use the wrong datum.
