Hi,

In the hope that by some small chance this inquiry is on topic, here goes.
Actually, if anyone has run across this or has the research materials to ID
it, please drop me a line off line.

I have procured a dual biconical antenna system bearing the following ID:

Dubrow Development Company
Order # 21762-PH-56

Both biconicals are VHF to UHF and bear the ID #'s AN-170 and AN-160. They
are beautifully made of very light materials with a central insulator of
clear plastic of some species. I can see the internal feed assembly, which
is direct wires to each cone terminating in a 2 pin (presumably balanced)
connector.

The antennas are mounted on a horizontal arm assembly which is oddly heavy,
given the antenna structure.  Each arm mounts into a central mast-mount hub;
each arm extends the balanced signal pickoff inward toward the mast hub. I
have not tried to reverse engineer/SWR-plot these guys yet, so all I can
tell you is:

The AN-170 is 23" tip-to-tip and each conical segment is 9" in diameter.
The AN-160 (not with me) is about 2/3 that scale.

Any ideas?

thanks in advance
