[ETS/PARC List] TRUSTEE

Fellow ETS club members,

I want to thank Dan, KC2YRC for updating the members on last month's meeting and the recent happenings that effects our club.  For those of you that could not make last month's Zoom meeting, when the need to have a repeater trustee was brought up I want you to know that Len, WB2HKK without hesitation volunteered.  I feel better knowing that K2ETS is now in compliance with FCC regulations.  We should all be proud that we have two members in our club who have volunteered to take on the responsibilities of Don, K2DSV and Drew, W2OU.  There are also other club housekeeping issues that are being addressed by other club volunteers.  We will keep everyone informed as they progress. 

Shortly we will be making an formal announcement calling for the names of members that would like to run for any of the club's officer positions.  Chris, KC2PI has again volunteered to head the nomination committee.  So if you are thinking of throwing your hat into the ring, please let Chris know when the time comes.

On a future note, RVRC is looking into having a hamfest this year on July 10th, "NOTHING IS OFFICAL" so please don't mark your calendars just yet.  We are all hoping that future hamfests will be allowed this year now that the Covid vaccines are being administered.  George, W2VFW and myself had to drive all the way to Mullica Hill to attend what may have been the only hamfest held last year.

Looking forward to having an eyeball with everyone at our monthly Zoom meeting on Friday the 26th.

To all members of K2ETS,

As discussed at the last zoom meeting Len WB2HKK volunteered to be the new trustee

of the club call sign K2ETS. The paperwork was submitted and was approved and if you

search K2ETS on qrz you will see the change. I would like to thank Len for taking on this

responsibility and as a club in these difficult times we are working on meeting agendas 

with the recently purchased zoom account , and updating info on the website and various

member list, and emails.

As you all know with the passing of Don K2DSV and Drew W2OU, we have not only loss 

two very key members of our club they are our friends and part of the K2ETS family.

It will take some time to recoup from there loss, but I can at least say they were great teachers

so as there students we all need to step up and carry on I think they would not of wanted it

any other way.

Also want to thank Larry W2LJ for taking over the VE aspect of the club ....those are pretty

big shoes to fill .... if you need help Larry or anyone is interested in helping Larry out in anyway

would be appreciated.

As I said before it will take some time and getting used to .... but we are a club ...

and most important I think of us as the K2ETS family.
