Minutes for the Meeting on January 31st,  2020
Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)

The Meeting was called to order by  President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:00
PM.  This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then
by self-introductions of all those in attendance.

Meeting Minutes
The minutes from the October meeting were successfully e-mailed. A motion
was made by W2OIL and WB2HKK to waive the reading of the minutes. The
motion passed unanimously.

Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.
Opening Balance - $    6824.91
Income -   50/50 - $57 (100% donated back by K2NBC),  Christmas Party 50/50
- $62, Coffee Can & Party Donations $140.00, Member dues  $210.00
Deposit - $469.00
Regular Disbursements -  $42.00 Bank Service Fee (3 months), $284.89
Verizon Payment (3 months), Party reimbursements (Pizza KB2LLM)  $150.00
Closing Balance - $6817.02–  so we are $59.32 “ahead” compared  to last
year.
A motion was made by W2OIL and seconded by W2OU to accept the Treasurer's
Report. This was approved by the membership.

Correspondence
None

Technical Report
Len did a presentation on how any why we lost FiOS service at the repeater
site. The backup repeater is ready to go. Len fixed the LINUX problem with
the NWS announcements on the repeater. Peter KD2ARB is goiong to compile a
list of nets on the reflector that will be available for connecting to.

Old Business
A Nomination Committee needs to find nominees. We will have two vacancies
to fill. Vice president and Secretary.

New Business
Reminders were made about the NPARC Auction and the Cherryville Hamfest.

Health and Welfare
Don K2DSV is doing OK. His wife is in rehab after a broken ankle.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by W2OIL and was seconded by N2JUN
The meeting was adjourned at 9:05 PM

50/50 - $62 was won by K2NBC and was donated back to the club.
