Minutes for the Meeting on Feb 22nd, 2019

Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)



The Meeting was called to order by   Vice President David Vadney, W2OIL 
at 8:14 PM on Feb. 22, 2019.  This was followed by the reciting of the 
Pledge of Allegiance and then by self-introductions of all those in 
attendance.

Meeting Minutes

As the minutes of the March 2018 meeting were successfully e-mailed to 
the membership, the formal reading was waived. A motion was made by 
KC2YRC and was seconded by KC2PI. The motion was adopted by the 
membership.

Treasurer’s Report

Treasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.

Opening Balance $xxxx.70	

Income – 50/50 $xx.00, Coffee Kitty $x.00, Dues $xx.00	,

Disbursement –  Bank Service Fee $xx.00, Verizon $xx.29

Closing Balance - $xxxx.41

A motion was made by K2DSV and seconded by N2JUN to accept the 
Treasurer's Report. This was approved by the membership.

Technical Report

Rich KB2LLM  gave the technical report – Everything running fine just 
basic maintenence

Old Business

Date was set for picnic it will be August 25, 2018….as time gets closer 
info will be emailed to members.

New Business

June 15th 2019 RVRC hamfest date set…… Nominating Comm. Organized as 
KC2PI,KD2ARB,W2CZM…..KA2BZS Ron selling radio equipment, list o be 
emailed later by Don K2DSV….Rich KB2LLM putting links to other clubs on 
website, Chris KD2PMP will set it up……Pete KD2ARB + Marv K2VHW had qso 
interrupted by you know who from New York…..New Providence hamfest 
2-23-2019……Cherryville hamfest 3-9-2019…….Bara Hamfest 5-25-2019

Health and Welfare

Drew Mar 1st set for surgery, wish him well….Donation for Drews mom all 
agreed

Adjournment

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 9:00 PM by N2JUN and was 
seconded by K2DSV

50/50 – Won by Chris KC2PI, $xx.00 all donated back to the club. Thanks 
to Bill W2WK for running the 50/50
