Minutes for the Meeting on May 31st, 2019
Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)

The Meeting was called to order by  President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:13
PM.  This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then
by self-introductions of all those in attendance. We had three guests –
Frank DeFina KB3DNG, Bob Haack N2AV, Sandeep  Puskuru KC2WXV

Meeting Minutes
Minutes for the April meeting were successfully emailed. A motion was made
by W2OIL and seconded by KC2YRC to accept them.

Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.
Opening Balance - $7022.95
Income -   50/50s - $55 (100% donation by K2NBC), Coffee Kitty - $7,Dues -
$90
Deposit - 152.00
Disbursements -  $14.00 Bank Service Fee , $322 Mercer Consumer
(insurance), $75 Picnic reimbursement K2NBC, $71.80 Picnic reimbursement
W2OIL, $132.10 Website Fee KC2YRC
Closing Balance - $ 6560.05 –  so we are $916.53 “ahead” compared  to last
year.
A motion was made by W2LJ and seconded by N2JUN to accept the Treasurer's
Report. This was approved by the membership.

Correspondence
Sussex Hamfest flyer, OMARC Hamfest flyer, KC2PI and WN2RJR sent their
regrets about being unable to attend.

Technical Report
Repeaters are working OK. The WIN SYS Tech Net will be broadcast. KD2ARB is
looking into the software to connect All Star to DMR.


Picnic Committee – Save the date -  August 26th

Old Business – Next Wednesday night net will be on June 12th. A brief
account was given regarding the SPARC Special Event on May 4th in Putnam
Park.

New Business – Field Day is June 22/23. The W2QW Hamfest is coming up June
15.
Rich KB2LLM played the Pete Smith “Radio Hams” feature from the 1930s.
Health and Welfare
Drew W2OU is back in attendence.
