Minutes for the Meeting on January 25th 2019
Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)

The Meeting was called to order by  President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:07
PM.  This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then
by self-introductions of all those in attendance.

Meeting Minutes
The minutes from the October meeting were successfully e-mailed. A motion
was made by W2OIL and K2DSV to waive the reading of the minutes. The motion
passed unanimously.

Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.
Opening Balance - $    XXXX.91
Income -   50/50 - $XX (100% donated back by KC2PI),  50/50 - $XX (won by
Dora), Coffee Can & Party Donations $XXX.00, Member dues  $XXX.00
Deposit - $XXX.00
Regular Disbursements -  $XX.00 Bank Service Fee (3 months), $XXX.21
Verizon Payment (3 months), Party and battery backup reimbursements  $XXX.00
Closing Balance - $XXXX.70–  so we are $XXXX.74 “ahead” compared  to last
year.
A motion was made by W2OIL and seconded by N2JUN to accept the Treasurer's
Report. This was approved by the membership.

Correspondence
None

Technical Report
Club has a new g-mail account for Echolink purposes etsofnj at gmail.com.
Echolink is back on the 2 Meter repeater. All is working well with no major
problems.

Old Business
New Business
A Nominations Committee will be formed in February. Victor K2NBC asked for
presentations of meetings. A date for the picnic will be chosen in
February. The club is looking for donations for the Hamfest table.

Health and Welfare
Frank W2NR became a Silent Key, K2KJI's wife recently had a heart attack.

Adjournment
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by N2JUN and was seconded by
WB2HKK The meeting was adjourned at 8:56 PM

50/50 - $62 was won by W2LJ and was donated back to the club.
