For those nearer to (or traveling through) the northern part of the
Garden State, here's some important repeater frequencies (to program
into your HT and base station) that can be especially helpful for
inclement weather conditions:
Passaic County ARES net repeater: WO2X/R (443.450MHz, + shift, PL:
141.3 Hz)
FM Passaic County OEM repeater: NJ2PC/R (146.610 MHz, - shift, PL:
141.3 Hz)
DMR Passaic County OEM repeater: NJ2PC/R (440.950 MHz, + shift, DMR
TS2, TG9)
Bergen / Passaic SKYWARN repeater W2PQG/R: (146.700 MHz, - shift,
PL: 141.3 Hz)
NNJ Section ARES net repeater: WS2Q/R (146.895 MHz, - shift, PL:
151.4 Hz)
BTW, NOAA is encouraging SKYWARN spotter reports for significant weather
conditions during Wednesday's possible winter storm event.
