N2ION is in NYC, pl 114.8. It has a great signal. I did some research, and discovered that 444.40 was not in use. REPEATERBOOK shows it as a South Amboy repeater, with a call of K2ODP. K2ODP was a club call for the Woodbridge Radio Club. This call expired last year. The club has dissolved. I spoke with Bill Londell, K2CZD, the club contact. He confirmed the above. Back in the 70's, I built the Woodbridge Radio club repeaters, that were located at Bob Pederson's house in Fords. The WB2HKK repeater is now on 444.40Mhz ( pl 141.3 ). I will change the listing on REPEATERBOOK.COM, and begin coordination paperwork.
