[ETS/PARC List] Echolink

I have noticed that Echolink connections on our repeater frequently sound
HORRIBLE!

 

I sent this message to Echolink.org this morning:

 

" I manage the K2ETS repeater in NJ ( 146.94 ). Echolink connections
frequently have HORRIBLE audio. You do NOT stress anywhere in your
instructions that users check their audio quality and levels. Please correct
this. I have paid careful attention to the audio fidelity on our system,
since it is crucial to COMMUNICATION, which is what Ham Radio is about! "
