Minutes for the Meeting on July 27th, 2018
Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)

The Meeting was called to order by  President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:32
PM.  This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then
by self-introductions of all those in attendance.

Meeting Minutes
Minutes for the June meeting were successfully emailed. A motion was made
by N2JUN and seconded by KC2YRCto accept them.

Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.
Opening Balance - $XXXX.54
Income -   50/50s - $XX (100% donation by WB2HKK), Coffee Kitty - $X, Dues
$XX.00
Deposit - $XX.00
Disbursements -  $XX.00 Bank Service Fee , $XX.98 Verizon Payment
Closing Balance - $ XXXX.56 –  so we are $XX13 “ahead” compared  to last
year.
A motion was made by K2DSV and seconded by KB2LLM to accept the Treasurer's
Report. This was approved by the membership.

Correspondence
None

Technical Report
Repeaters are working OK. The 220 MHz repeater is currently linked to the
New England DMR and Digital Network The Technical Committe announced that
they are the body that will deal with any malicious interference the club
may encounter. There was continued discussion about linking repeaters and
exactly which members are control operators.

Picnic Committee – Park permit has been secured for August 26. Picnic
announcement with RSVP will go out via e-mail.

Old Business – Dave W2OIL and Dan KC2YRC were presented with SPARC hats and
shirts in appreciation for their help with SPARC's Field Day.

New Business – Rich KB2LLM requested that we publish an updated Member
List. It was also made known that Greenbrook Electronics had purchased the
balance of KC2IZK's antique radio collection. Marv K2VHW announced that
SPARC has officially endorsed NY2BB in the upcoming Hudson Division
Director election. NY2BB is invited to the September 28th ETS of NJ
Meeting.  Chris KD2PMP has volunteered to be Webmaster of the K2ETS Website.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:40 PM  Motioned by N2JUN and W2OIL
50/50 – Won by Rich KB2LLM - $26.50.
