I can put a note out on MOTOTRBO mail list.  It reaches 6,000 readers.
Also on our Yankee Clipper Contest Club mail list which reaches 2,000 readers.

At the last club meeting there was discussion on setting up a Special Event Station Celebrating Motorola’s 90th Anniversary (September 25).  The club in the past has operated a Special Event Station for Motorola’s 75th and 80th.

We are proposing to operate and get others together during the 2018 Radio Expo at the Boone County Fairgrounds September 22nd. A station would be set up and operating Friday- Saturday.



There is discussion on setting up an HF Station in the campground and a DMR station inside the fairground building.



Post your comments / suggestions..looking for input from the club.
I am also looking at how to capture the clubs memorable moments, events, photos..so gather your ideas as we count down.



Would like to firm up plans by Sept 5 to allow this event to be communicated to a larger group as it is a bit late to get something into print.  Maybe someone knows how to best advertise this Special Event.
