*Minutes for the Meeting on September 28th, 2018*
*Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)*

The Meeting was called to order by  President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:07
PM.  This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then
by self-introductions of all those in attendance.

*Meeting Suspended*
The meeting was suspended for a presentation by Mike Lisenco NY2BB, our
Hudson Division Director, who is running for re-election to office.

*Meeting Resumed at 10:00 PM*

*Meeting Minutes*
Minutes for the July meeting were successfully emailed. A motion was made
by W2OIL and seconded by KC2YRC to accept them.

*Treasurer’s Report*
Treasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.
Opening Balance - $XXXX.56
Income -   50/50 - $XX.50, Coffee Kitty - $X, Dues $XX.00 (KD2IKS), Picnic
Revenue – 50/50 $XX, RSVPs $XXX, Sale of radio donated by AA2QT $XXX
Deposit - $XXXX.50
Disbursements -  $XX.00 Bank Service Fee ,  Verizon Payment(s) $XX.19,
$XX.31, $XX.15, Annual Report Form $XX.50, Check to QSL.net $XX.00
Closing Balance - $ XXXX.91 –  so we are $XXXX.69 “ahead” compared  to last
year.
A motion was made by W2OIL and seconded by W2LJ to accept the Treasurer's
Report. This was approved by the membership.

*Correspondence*
QSL cards

*Technical Report*
Major updates were performed on the repeaters. The 330 MHz repeater was
finally replaced. The front end of the 2 Meter repeater was replaced. The
technical committee will have to replace one of the Raspberry Pi interfaces.

*Old Business *– Picnic QSOs will be added to the ETS Log. Chris KD2PMP
continues working/updating the ETS Website and is contemplating
incorporating WordPress.

*New Business *– The Christmas Party will be discussed at the October
meeting. Members are asked to look into possible new sources for pizza for
the party.
John Pencak KD2IKS was unanimously voted in as a new member. AA2QT was
unanimously voted in as an Honorary Member for his radio donation.
Health and Welfare
Don K2DSV was rushed to the hospital with a throat/choking problem,
reported to be not life threatening.
