MFJ has been big-time busy over the last two months getting new products ready and a new catalog to hit the streets by mid May. The new 148 page catalog features over 50 new products and we announced our partnership with Xiegu previously and now YouKits(R) will be represented in the new catalog as well.  We are looking forward to the DaytonHamvention(R) held in Xenia Ohio on the Greene County Fairgrounds.  The hamfest is less than three weeks away now and we got a lot of work to do!!!  Here's what's happening from the MFJ camp for April and May.

MFJ now the YouKits(R) North American Distributor for sales and service

MFJ continues to bring on new companies for sales and service by MFJ.  We have now secured the North American distributorship for YouKits(R) and the full product line will be on showcase in the new 2018 catalog and at Dayton Hamvention(R).  MFJ is happy to provide service and sales for this new product line. YouKits(R) has a host of great new QRP transceivers, tuners and analyzer products.

New MFJ SDR Protection Switches

   MFJ has added to our line of SDR switches with the addition of the MFJ-1708B-SDR and the MFJ-1708B-SDR-S.  For $99.95 and $104.95, the new switches feature many new improvements. They have four relays and connectors on a single pc board. This gives you > 50 dB isolation at 300 MHz and > 68 dB at 50 MHz.  SWR < 1.16:1 at 50 MHz and < 1.75:1 at 450 MHz at the transmit port.  Mute output is a selectable short or open to ground. Use “boat anchors” or modern receivers or key a linear amplifier. Receiver input protection prevents overload from nearby high power signals and from receive to transmit. A hybrid splitter on SDR models reduces loading effect and gives > 15 dB isolation between the SDR REC and XCVR ports to reduce interference. The original MFJ-1708 series is still available.
