Minutes for the Meeting on May 25th, 2018

Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)



The Meeting was called to order by President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:07
PM. This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then
by self-introductions of all those in attendance.

*Meeting Minutes*

Minutes for the January meeting were successfully emailed. A motion was
made by N2JUN and seconded by W2OU to accept them.

*Treasurer’s Report*

Treasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.

Opening Balance - $XXXX.48

Income - 50/50s - $XX (100% donation by W2OIL), Coffee Kitty - $X

Deposit - $XX.00

Disbursements - $XX.00 Bank Service Fee , $XX.96 Verizon Payment, Donation
in memory of W2WIQ $X.00, Member Insurance Payment $XXX.00

Closing Balance - $ XXXX.52 – so we are $XX.96 “behind” compared to last
year.

A motion was made by W2OIL and seconded by WB2HKK to accept the Treasurer's
Report. This was approved by the membership.

*Technical Report*

Repeaters are working OK. The 220 MHz repeater will be installed soon.
Repeater controller can now announce its IP Address.

*Picnic Committee – *Park permit has been secured for August 26th

*New Business* – Rich KB2LLM went to go look at an equipment donation by
AA2QT, a Yaesu FT-1000D. Walter's granddaughter Tiffany earned her license
at the last VE Session – her assigned call is KD2PWF. Vic is helping her
file the paperwork to acquire the W2WIQ call sign.

RVRC Hamfest – 3 spots have been secured/reserved for ETS.

*Health and Welfare*

Judy, the wide of George W2VFW is doing all right Ron WV2RJR's wife is
doing well, also.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:04 PM
