*Minutes for the Meeting on October 27th 2017*
*Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)*

The Meeting was called to order by  President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:10
PM.  This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then
by self-introductions of all those in attendance.

*Meeting Minutes*
The minutes from the September meeting were successfully e-mailed. A motion
was made by WB2HKK and KD2BXF to waive the reading of the minutes. The
motion passed unanimously.

*Treasurer’s Report*
Treasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.
Opening Balance - $    XXXX.22
Income -   50/50 - $XX (100% donated back by K2NBC),  Coffee Can $XX.00,
Hamfest donation $XX
Deposit - $XX.00
Regular Disbursements -  $XX.00 Bank Service Fee, $XX.90 Verizon Payment,
Reimbursement to WB2HKK for repeater parts $XX
Closing Balance - $XXXX.32–  so we are $XXX.37 “ahead” compared  to last
year.
A motion was made by W2OIL and seconded by K2DSV to accept the Treasurer's
Report. This was approved by the membership.

*Correspondence*

*Technical Report*
The new 2 Meter Repeater is working well.  Kevin KD2BXF brought the new 220
repeater to the meeting for the members to see before installation. Len
WB2HKK reported that the Skywarn announcements were working well.

*Old Business*
Christmas Party will be held on Friday, December 8th. An series of e-mails
will go out to gauge attendance. There will be NO November meeting, as per
past practice.

*New Business*
Bill W2WK announced that he had various machine tools and supplies to sell
as well as test equipment as the result of an estate sale, for anyone
interested.
A Nominating Committee for upcoming elections needs to be established at
the January meeting. So far, no one has volunteered to chair the committee.

*Health and Welfare*
Ron WV2RJR's wife was reported as making progress in her recovery.

*Adjournment*
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by N2JUN and was seconded by
KC2YRC The meeting was adjourned at 8:55 PM
50/50 - $XX was won by K2NBC and was donated back to the club.
