I received an email from Richard Lee, president of the NJARC, that Vincent Lobosco passed away this evening after being remove from life support.  Our prayers go out to his family.

We have been informed that one of our members, Vincent Lobosco, KC2IZK, has been admitted to Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ in cardiac care. The prognosis at this time doesn’t look good and we should keep Vincent in our thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for getting back to me. He is at Overlook Hospital in the Cardiac Care Unit and is sedated. I am very saddened to say that the prognosis is not hopeful at all. I will certainly stay in touch with you with details and please feel free to share my contact info with anyone who asks. Unfortunately, besides searching for radio clubs I don't have names and numbers for his friends. (Also, if anyone asks, his dog Winston is in good hands with a friend.)

 

I apologize for having to share bad news through an email, but again, thank you for getting back to me. I'll be in touch as things develop.

Yes he is.  What hospital is Vinnie in and if I may ask without getting too personal - I'm hoping that the prognosis is hopeful?

Let me know where he is and we'll send him a "Get Well" card.

 

Your uncle is also a member of the Tri-County Radio Association - http://www.w2li.org/ and I think he's also a member of the Antique Radio Club which I think is based out of the Princeton area.
