Yes the email server has as a few quirks and they have been there for quite some time. I often only receive notifications that my message was received successfully. If one wants a copy I suggest you bcc yourself. 

Over the last few days I’ve received multiple messages from certain users with identical errors contents. Try not to get bent out of shape as it’s beyond our Control and messages aren’t being lost.
