[ETS/PARC List] Echolink Connectivity

    Hello all

        Yesterday,Joe W20Z0 went up to visit with Walter in the hospital
with his HT.He was unable to get into our repeater at all for the sole
purpose of having Walter to listen to well wishers that might have been
listening at that time.

      Effective immediately,my simplex node which is Echolink enabled will
be linked to the two meter K2ETS repeater until such time Walter is
discharged from the hospital.Any member visiting Walter&is desirous to tie
into the repeater can now do so on their smartphone.

     If you don't have Echolink,you can easily download it from Google play
store.Activate the app,(its free) do a search for KD2ARB-L.You will be able
to hear&transmit on our club repeater when initialized.

    Any members with further questions please consult with any member of
the tech committee

    A CRON script will be written so the connection will be automatic in
the mornings when the repeaters come out of sleep mode
