Regretfully, I will not be able to attend tomorrow evening's meeting. I am
filling a small role, doing one of the readings at Dave KD2FSI's Nuptial
Mass on Saturday, so I will be at the wedding rehearsal.

Minutes for the Meeting on March 30th, 2018
Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)

The Meeting was called to order by  President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:07
PM.  This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then
by self-introductions of all those in attendance.  We had a guest for the
meeting – Mike Springsteen, KD2PLT

Meeting Minutes
Minutes for the January meeting were successfully emailed. A motion was
made by N2JUN and seconded by KC2YRC to accept them. There was an amendment
to the January minutes concerning WB2HKK’s role as Control Operator.

Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.
Opening Balance - $XXXX.99
Income -   50/50s - $XX, Coffee Kitty - $XX,  Members Dues & Donations -
$XXX.00
Deposit - $XXX.00
Regular Disbursements -  $XX.00 Bank Service Fee , $XX.06 Verizon Payment
Closing Balance - $XXXX.93–  so we are $XXX.95 “ahead” compared  to last
year.
A motion was made by W2OIL and seconded by KC2PI to accept the Treasurer's
Report. This was approved by the membership.

Correspondence
A note from Ron WV2RJR that he couldn’t make the meeting.

Technical Report
Repeaters are working OK. The backup UPS will be removed. The amplifier is
ready to return to the Elizabeth site and the duplexer there will be
re-tuned.

Nominations Committee – By cast of one ballot by the Secretary and with no
objection from the membership, the Slate of Officers as announced in
January were elected.

Picnic Committee – Ron Loneker KA2BZS has agreed to reserve the park.
Tentative dates will be either August 19th or 26th, depending on
availability.

Old Business
The ETS of NJ Website is an ongoing work in progress.
Pete KD2ARB is looking for volunteers to keep the Wednesday evening net
going.

New Business – Walter W2WIQ’s estate – The club has been given some items.
These will be offered to the membership in the near future. What is left
over will be taken to the RVRC Hamfest in June.
The contents of Vinnie KC2IZK’s house will be opened for sale the Weekend
of April 6th and 7th.

Health and Welfare
Bill W2WK reported that Janet K2MOM had cataract surgery, which went well.
