[ETS/PARC List] Reminder of ETS Meeting and Presentation Tomorrow

Fellow ETS club members,

Just a reminder that our monthly meeting is tomorrow night.  I am happy to inform you that Chris Fine is giving a talk about "Overview of Digital Amateur Radio."    He is planning to do a bit of historical review and then talk about the existing HF and VHF-up modes, and maybe a bit of future direction.  This will be an interactive discussion as Chris is very interested in hearing what people are doing.  As you know digital is gradually "taking over," and ultimately almost no matter what an operator is doing, some part of it will be digital.

To add to the presentation Kevin is bringing some demo equipment and will talk about what he is doing with the digital modes.  This should be a very interesting meeting for everyone regarding the future of our hobby and I look forward to seeing all of you tomorrow night.  Please feel free to bring along anyone who you feel would be interested in this presentation.
